ORGANIC FOOD Factory is production plant for dried herbs, fruits and vegetables. We aimed to create a space were for the first time in RM we introduce factory for treating organic food according the recent market requirements for this food.  Throughout the process - we visit many food factories, we did research in food processing technologies , we analyse organic and sustainable building structures that can reflect the function of the plant itself.

Architecture we located on the site is pure reflection of the products processed in this plant. Organic glass ornaments, sloped triangle surfaces should connect us to the concept and shape of the tree elements especially the LEAF. Modules applied in the layouts keeps the same proportions of the leaf shape and structures the building to enable free space for continual position of the production equipment. The idea of combining nature elements for the ornaments and wooden construction materials as main structure brings the synthesis of the idea of human existance in the natural habitats.

Despite the production halls, we foreseen administrative part of the building were managing of the plant is set. The ground floor is for commercial activities while next floor is for office usage. In horizontal and vertical section we apply  importing of green modules for herbs research also as relaxing spots for the employees.

Also the acquired storage space is estimated according the annual predicted supplies and final packages for each of the treated herbs, fruits and vegetables.

Finally the complete structure of the building is of laminated wood as well as the facade walls and roof elements. Part of the glass surfaces are suggested as photovoltaic plants.
