Winery GV is created in a time frame when wineries were welcomed as new small businesses in few grape regions in RM. Gevgelija site is nearby the cargo railway coming from Greece in the suburb of the town. The strategic position enables easy transportation of the wine products for import which is lately in increase.
The simple building structure is derived by super positioning two axes of the site borders as two overlapping asymmetrical nets. We have dedicated numerous spaces indoors to present the synthesis of the production technology and business needs of various grape and wine products.
Total area is divided in sectors according the technology of wine making. At the beginning are reception and control of grape as well as employees entrance control points. Next is grape mincing shed. Afterwards the production and storage halls are together with the administrative space separated by the wine cellar in the ground. The floor construction is concrete while vertical elements as well as the roof parts are of steel. The idea of rationalizing the building cost was completely fullfilled. The investment and construction costs were mutualy proportional since derived from the production analyses of the annual growth of the grape plants. This was challenge to enable quality wine prodaction and even more important wine storage and sale promotion.
